I thoroughly enjoy drawing and painting with watercolour and discovered by combining the translucent properties of watercolour with the layering capabilities of pencils I could achieve beautiful results and details in my pet portraits.
I have always enjoyed creative activities and art was a favourite subject at school which I studied to 'A' Level although I took a completely different career path and worked as an accountant for a very long time.
I left my corporate job to take care of my son and on those Wednesday mornings when he was at nursery I joined a local watercolour class which re-kindled my childhood passion - I haven't looked back.
Most of my creative time is devoted to bespoke pet portraits but I also take the opportunity to create watercolour illustrations, many of which are reproduced as greeting cards and prints that you'll find in my shop.
I feel very fortunate to have taken the leap from a corporate to creative career!
